“Learning through
the Experience”

In an atmosphere that de-emphasizes competition and elevates community and personal growth, High Rocks has watched children develop confidence, self esteem, and team working skills for almost fifty years. Outdoor adventure skills ranging from rock climbing and ropes courses to backpacking and canoeing taught in a supportive environment, have proven to be an invaluable tool for teaching young people the skills needed not only to safely enjoy the world around us, but to be a positive force in their communities as well.

Our LEAP program embraces the same philosophy to provide your group with an enjoyable and meaningful experience. Trying new things, trusting one another and working through difficult situations as a team, can help students develop confidence, good decision-making skills and a sense of social responsibility.

By freeing the students from the walls of a traditional classroom we can work with your students and integrate current curriculum and subject matter that will enhance their learning through experiential methods.

We are now scheduling our 2008-2009 academic calendar!

If it looks like the dates are filled below, we can have groups overlap, especially if one is in camp and the other out of camp.  Be sure to give us a call if your school is interested!
