What are you looking forward to most about this summer?: Spending my days doing fun activities with the campers and creating life long memories
What are you doing (or where are you) when you are happiest?: Somewhere out in nature, either hiking in the mountains or being in the ocean
Hometown: Miami, FL, but I have called the Triangle Area of NC my home for the past 18 years!
School: I went to Watts School of Nursing and Western Governors University for my nursing degrees.
Campus Involvement: I’m a social butterfly and love to network so I was always involved in healthcare-related volunteer opportunities. I also enjoy photography so I created our school’s yearbook for several years.
Years on Staff: I’ve worked at Camp High Rocks for 3 summers, but this is my 5th year as a camp nurse!
What are you looking forward to most about this summer?: I’m looking forward to keeping all of the campers and staff safe while empowering them to stay healthy and supporting them when they need medical care. Oh and I love watching the fireflies at camp in the evenings!
Fun Fact: My dog’s name is S’more and he’s a big, fluffy, happy labradoodle that looks like a giant marshmallow!

What are you doing (or where are you) when you are happiest?: I was at my happiest when I had my first year on staff. It turns out that being in a new place and getting out of your comfort zone turns you into the best version of yourself.

What are you looking forward to most about this summer?: I’m really looking forward to the stellar mountain biking in the Western NC mountains, as well as the opportunity to help create fun camp memories for everybody I can.
What are you doing (or where are you) when you are happiest?: I’m definitely happiest when playing some of my favorite music with others, or when locked in on a really interesting read.
